I know it doesn't quite feel like it, because of the endless rain and cold and dreary days, but summer is ALMOST here! The sun will soon be shining🤞, the kids will be home from school and everyone will looking for ways to cool off!💦 If you're unsure where to go, I hope this list of places to go for exactly that is helpful that I will hopefully be able to keep adding to over the next few weeks!

I include Johnson's Corner farm in my events calendar pretty much every day because of the plethora of attractions & activities that they host. For summer, this is no different! You can still enjoy the strawberry picking and the hayrides but you can also cool off in one of their splash pads! (They have 3!) Admission grants you access to not only the splash pads but also a variety of other attractions to pick from!

The Funplex

Ok, The Funplex is a little more than a splash pad! It is a pleasure ground of indoor/outdoor games, pools, slides, family fun events and treats. Pretty much you name it, they have it!
They offer a few different options for wristbands!
- One day pass $55

- An Early Bird Special: Sunday, 9-11 AM for $45
- Twilight Savings: Saturdays, after 6 PM for $35

Beach Access is seasonal only. There are No Lifeguards on Duty but they do have a Playground & Picnic Tables!
